Kenza Benaouda · Product Designer · London, open to relocation

I redesign the shopping journeys where customers drop off, and measure the difference.

Hi, I’m Kenza, a product designer with 5+ years in e-commerce. At La Redoute I’ve revamped most of the shopping app on iOS and Android, and what I enjoy most is turning the moments where customers get stuck into ones that feel easy.

Selected work

Three redesigns of the La Redoute app, and a concept app I prototyped

  1. 01 · La Redoute app · iOS & Android · Q3–Q4 2025

Bringing the product page up to standard, then testing what comes next

    Challenge
The product page had not been redesigned in years, and few users scrolled far enough to reach key information.
    My role
Product Designer: discovery, design, prototyping, delivery, QA, vision workshops

    +12% conversion rate

  2. 02 · Concept app · London · October 2026

Comparing every ride across London in one search

    Challenge
Checking Uber, then Bolt, then FREENOW for the same trip takes minutes. I wanted one place to compare every option and pick in one tap.
    My role
Product Designer, solo: market check, user flows, visual direction, prototyping with Claude

<6 h for an interactive prototype, a showcase website and motion design

  3. 03 · La Redoute app · iOS & Android · Q1 2023

Making sign-up short enough to finish

    Challenge
Only 35.8% of people who started creating an account finished. The form asked for 8 required fields on one page.
    My role
Product Designer, end to end: audit, data, flow, user tests, delivery with QA

35.8% →64.6% account creation completion rate

  4. 04 · La Redoute app · iOS & Android · Q1 2024

Turning a homepage users ignored into a useful starting point

    Challenge
Users saw the homepage as a marketing page and skipped it. The teams filling it had no modular templates and no guidelines.
    My role
Product Designer: research with UX Research, widget system, CMS guidelines, team training

+30% click-through rate on homepage cards

Beyond the case studies

What else I bring to a product team

  • User research

Audits, benchmarks and analytics before I design, then moderated user tests. I ran the sign-up tests myself and the homepage tests with the UX Research team.

  • A/B testing strategy

I decide what to test and read the results with the Conversion team. After the sign-up redesign, one test on a checkbox raised partner opt-ins by 56.4%. New product page features are A/B tested before rollout.

  • Workshop facilitation

I run workshops to align teams and generate ideas: with product designers across teams at Veepee, and with Product Owners to shape the future La Redoute product page.

  • Design system and tokens

I help bring the design system’s tokens into the iOS (SwiftUI) and Android (Compose) apps, with developers and QA, under the Design System Manager.

  • Mentoring

For two years I have mentored the apprentice designer on our team of nine: I choose projects that match their level, follow deadlines and run quarterly retrospectives.

  • Mobile app vision

I took part in defining the innovation pillars for La Redoute’s app, in a workshop with PMs, designers and the Head of Product.
